Delphi Energy & Chassis Systems Announces New Role for Peter F. Ciampa

FLINT, Mich. -- Peter F. Ciampa has been named director, government contracts for the Dynamics & Propulsion sector, as well as director, venture development for Delphi Energy & Chassis Systems, effective immediately. Prior to his new assignment, Ciampa was director, technology alliances, Delphi Energy & Chassis Systems.
In his new role, he will be responsible for all contractual relationships between the Dynamics & Propulsion sector and the U.S. federal and state governments. He will continue to report to William R. Herren and coordinate government contract activities with Delphi Technologies, Inc. (DTI), Delphi Energy & Chassis Systems and Delphi Saginaw Steering Systems.
The following individuals will continue to report within their current organizations and form the center of expertise for government contracts within the sector: Mark Harvey, Delphi Energy & Chassis Systems; Stacy Byce, Delphi Energy & Chassis Systems; and Tomy Sebastian, Delphi Saginaw Steering Systems. Henrean Prater, DTI will work with him on government contracting issues for Delphi and continue to report to Andy Brown.
In his capacity as director, venture development, Delphi Energy & Chassis Systems, Ciampa will lead venture development activities within Delphi Energy & Chassis Systems. Reporting to Peter and continuing to support this activity will be Del Green, Pete Hagenbuch, Paul McCollom, Greg Prucey, Rudy Wilson and Carol Olay. Jack Tubbs will continue to report to Del Green.
Peter has been in his previous position since January 1998. Prior to that, he was director, sales & marketing for Delco Propulsion Systems. He has held various contracts and business management positions within Hughes Electronics Corporation, as well as sales and marketing positions within General Motors and Delphi.
