Delphi Women Selected To Receive Women Of Achievement Awards

Flint, Mich. -- Ten Delphi Energy & Chassis Systems women were honored last night at the YWCA of Greater Flint Women of Achievement Awards ceremony held at Whiting Auditorium.
The following ten Delphi women were named as award-winners:
- Katherine Bellis, product line manager, engine management systems (EMS) business team
- Laura Kenworthy Bowers, manager of product portfolio planning
- Mina Cox, production control & logistics manager
- Linda Dinger, product line manager, exhaust systems products
- Cheryl Kilborn, director of public affairs & communications
- Shannon Liddell, operations manager, Flint East Energy & Chassis operations
- Sally Male, chief engineer, air measurement & controls
- Karen Mavredes, quality systems manager
- Kathryn Roessler, Flint East production control manager
- Anna Thomas, divisional quality manager, customer satisfaction
"These 10 women show great commitment to their jobs, their community and their families," said Guy C. Hachey, president of Delphi Energy & Chassis Systems, and a featured speaker at the event. "They are real leaders who take pride in serving as excellent role models for their peers. Delphi is proud to honor them and have them as part of our team."
The YWCA honors select women of the community on a biennial basis. "While each woman's contribution is unique, there is a unifying thread in the tapestry they have woven," said Kathi Horton, chief executive officer of the YWCA. "That unifying thread is 'passion converted to action.' Each honoree has embraced with passion a commitment to do good."
Delphi was also a key sponsor of last night's event. Along with GM Service Parts Operations, Hurley, and McLaren Health Care Corp., more than 100 women were honored for their accomplishments.
