Testing Services

The Fuel Analysis and Testing Laboratory at the Delphi Mexico Technical Center (MTC) assists component and engine manufacturers in the examination of the chemical composition and properties of selected fuels to help determine their impact on the performance of fuel injection and fuel pump equipment and to predict product tolerances and warranty failure targets.

The Lab offers a wide range of test procedures to analyze the composition and behavior of basic gasoline blends (isooctane-toluene mixtures), ethanol and ethanol-blend fuels, diesel (including EN590), and biodiesel (diesel-methyl ether mixtures).

Delphi's highly trained technicians use industry recognized ASTM International standards and procedures. Delphi ensures complete confidentiality and the laboratory services are conducted to meet cost objectives and customer schedules.
