Delphi Fusion-based Image Enhancement Technology

Delphi Fusion-based Image Enhancement (FBIE) Technology uses an enhancement approach for images with low visibility and contrast, such as images taken at night. The FBIE technology features an image enhancement approach that is independent from cameras and imaging apparatus. Delphi's image enhancement is based on pyramid fusion of two fusion-based images. This provides performance improvement with enhanced visibility and contrast of both dark and bright areas.

Delphi has two patent applications pending on this technology:

  • US 2007/0047833 A1, System or Method for Enhancing an Image
  • US 2006/0210190 A1, System and Method for Enhancing an Image
