The Delphi Reusable Ergonomic Shipping and Handling Container is a patented innovation that provides a reusable container for coiled reel stock material and functions as both a shipping and manufacturing handling container. It offers ergonomic access to the coil stock material for use in manufacturing and assembly processes. Proven in high-volume production operations, these reusable containers provide cost savings over single use designs.

It offers ergonomic access to the coil stock material for use in manufacturing and assembly processes. These reusable containers provide cost savings over one-time use containers. The design is proven and is used in high-volume production operations.

Key features of this invention include a gate on each of two sides that is uniquely designed to provide the needed structural support during shipping and a storage area for the gates when they are removed for access to coiled material. These containers are ideal for handling coiled stock such as metal ribbons used in manufacturing of connectors, small stampings,  and electronic assembly.

The container design also includes a thermoformed lid that may be attached when the container is shipped overseas or between locations on a common carrier. The lid is banded to the container prior to shipping.

These containers are in use in several high-volume production facilities. The technology available includes patent rights and design details.
