Delphi Active Night Vision

Delphi's Active Night Vision system uses near-infrared illuminators integrated into the headlights, an infrared-sensitive camera, and a head-up display to help improve drivers' nighttime visibility without blinding oncoming traffic. Infrared illuminators, invisible to the naked eye, illuminate the road ahead and an in-vehicle infrared-sensitive camera captures the image to provide the driver an enhanced image on the display. One of the lowest-cost night vision systems available, the technology is desired by 84% - 99% of new vehicle buyers**. Delphi's Active Night Vision camera can be shared with a Delphi Lane Departure Warning system, providing a cost-effective driver assistance system.
