Delphi DS301 High-value Telematics System

Delphi's DS301 is a second-generation, telematics system that uses a two-way satellite modem for communication over the ORBCOMM low-earth orbit (LEO) satellite network. A complete hardware solution for companies that use a wide variety of applications to track, monitor and communicate with fixed and mobile assets around the globe, the DS301 features a revolutionary bay compartment that allows addition of customer-specific hardware to meet individual market requirements. The bay is not only weatherproof, but is also RF-visible, allowing the addition of wireless capabilities such as GSM/GPRS or Zigbee. Whatever the bay board requirements, Delphi will create an individualized solution. This customization allows a high-value, low-cost base unit to be customized for a specific application at a very low cost.
