Delphi's Fuba Mobile World Tuner provides vehicle manufacturers a flexible, single-box solution that integrates all digital TV broadcast standards to offer the flexibility and scalability needed to enable a cost-effective reception solution adaptable for regional markets. Designed specifically for use on the road, the mobile TV tuner uses multiple antennas, integrated amplifiers and maximum ratio combining (MRC) technology — combining antenna signals to calculate and recover the broadcasted signal — to provide best-in-class TV reception in vehicles. Reducing system complexity, the TV tuner's common hardware design helps to reduce investment cost and shorten time-to-market. And, with software-based codecs, the tuner can be easily adapted to new TV standards.
