Delphi Series 7000 Fuel Module

Fuel modules are designed to provide uninterrupted flow of fuel to the engine at system pressure. Depending on customer needs, the Delphi Series 7000 Fuel Module can integrate a pump, fuel level sensor, fuel filter, reservoir with active and passive filling mechanisms, and regulator in a compact, modular package that is easy to install. The Delphi Series 7000 Fuel Module also offers an in-tank fuel filter with 10-12 µm filtration.

An active fill mechanism (jet pump) allows all fuel to be sent to the engine before stalling, helping extend the vehicle's driving range. The use of plastic flanges (covers) and nylon fuel lines helps eliminate corrosion of key components.

Typical Applications

The Delphi Series 7000 Fuel Module is suitable for gasoline engine passenger car or light-duty truck applications with a returnless fuel system. The fuel pump is compatible with flexible fuel systems, so the module can be used with vehicle applications that require ethanol- and gasoline-blend fuels up to 100% ethanol. The Delphi Series 7000 Fuel Module can also be easily tailored for diesel engine applications.
