Delphi Configurable Output Driver

The Delphi Configurable Output Driver (COD) is a user configurable output driver containing 8 DMOS power FETs. Four outputs are configurable as either a high- or low-side driver. Two outputs are fixed as low-side drivers. The remaining two outputs can have the internal DMOS configured high- or low-side drive or can be configured to drive an external FET in a high- or low-side configuration. Complete load diagnostic capablility is provided covering shorts, opens and over-temperature conditions. The COD is configured, commanded ON/OFF and interrogated for faults via a SPI bus.
