Driver Interface

Information, Convenience and Protection

At Delphi, we're helping to make sure that drivers are accompanied by the latest in-vehicle solutions. Our controls, displays, and security systems interact with drivers to help them know what they need to know about their vehicle and their driving environment. And, our body computers can tie these systems together so that they communicate with each other to offer even more value to our customers.

From window switches to buttons and knobs integrated into the center panel, column or roof module, Delphi controls are easy to use, save space and help lower vehicle cost. Our keyless entry and start, remote vehicle control and security systems recognize drivers and communicate to the vehicle, while, our bi-directional fobs, instrument clusters and information centers, conveniently help drivers know what is going on around them.

These integrated systems are rooted in collaborative design, innovative engineering and the efficiencies of high-volume manufacturing and are passengers that no driver should be without.

Mechatronics, Switches and Controls
With expertise in design and manufacturing of switches, controls, sensors and electronics, Delphi can offer individual controls as well as switch banks and mechatronic products that integrate mechanical and electronic functionality into a single module.

Body Electronics
Delphi body computers are the heart of the vehicle architecture. They can tie vehicle system together so that they communicate with each other to enhance customer value.

Displays
With Delphi's innovative display technologies, the high-content, complex environment of today's vehicles is simplified by putting as much information in front of drivers as possible. This helps them to focus within a 20-degree field of view, keeping their hands on the wheel and eyes on the road.

Security and Vehicle Access Systems
Delphi security and vehicle access systems help keep driver's connected to their vehicles even when they are not in them. They recognize drivers and convey instructions to the vehicle, inform drivers about their vehicles, and sense intrusion, inclination and unauthorized drivers to help protect drivers against theft.
