Delphi Body Control Modules

Delphi's Body Control Modules (BCMs) enable inputs and outputs to be linked through powerful microprocessors. Use of ASIC (application specific integrated circuits) and SMD (surface mounted devices) help ensure that body electronics components are small and reliable. By integrating these functions, a single module can perform a variety of body, security and convenience functions.

Offering standard features such as lock control, interior/exterior lighting control and motor and relay drive outputs, the BCM is capable of interfacing with the vehicle's instrument cluster, HVAC and theft deterrent via CAN or discrete signals.

Benefits

  • Uses standard production building blocks to minimize development time and provide a low-cost, low-mass solution
    • Flexible, cost-efficient feature functionality
    • Small, compact package
    • Mature and proven BCM technology
  • Offers system solution (E/E architecture, network management, system integration) and component design
  • Local engineering available to support customers around the world
