Delphi receives 'Prestigious Member Recognition' award from the National Safety Council
Delphi was recently recognized by the National Safety Council (NSC) for its efforts to help ensure a safe environment for all employees.
Delphi's Operation Support Group's (OSG) was recognized for continuing to include safety as a core value, by receiving a "Prestigious Member Recognition" award from the NSC.
In addition, Delphi received the National Safety Achievement Award which recognizes the company's commitment to safety and its participation in NSC's Occupational Safety Awards Program in 2010.
Forty Delphi sites applied and qualified for the Occupational Excellence Achievement Award. The Industry Leader Award was presented to Delphi Thermal Systems, Hermosillo, Mexico Operations; Delphi Thermal Systems, Ramos, Mexico Operations; and Delphi Corp., Kokomo Technical Center, Kokomo, Ind.
The Delphi organization has been a member of the National Safety Council (NSC) since 1999. The NSC is a non-profit, non-governmental, public service organization dedicated to protecting life and promoting health. The NSC is a membership organization, founded in 1913 and chartered by the U.S. Congress in 1953. More information can be found at www.nsc.org.
