Requests for Support From the Delphi Foundation
Delphi and the Delphi Foundation continue to support a limited number of 501C3 organizations and educational institutions each year. However, at the present time, neither Delphi nor the Delphi Foundation are accepting new proposals. Thank you.

Delphi strives to achieve an effective global philanthropic program that supports our business objectives while helping society, particularly in the communities in which we reside. Delphi's three-part approach to philanthropy includes the Delphi Foundation, Delphi Community Relations and Delphi Volunteers.

Underscoring our commitment to corporate citizenship, the Delphi Foundation focuses on our support for education, particularly in the areas of science and technology. The Foundation's criteria links directly to Delphi's vision and is based on input from our employees and other key stakeholders.

The Delphi Foundation is an independent charitable foundation established in 1999. The targeted areas of focus for the Delphi Foundation are educational opportunities and support systems aimed at helping young people reach their full potential. Special - though not exclusive - consideration is given to educational programs focused on science and technology. About half of the contributions are allocated to higher education programs in conjunction with Delphi's Education Relations activity and half are dedicated to K-12-related initiatives.

Primary consideration is given to requests that:

Link to Delphi's business vision and mission
Are focused on science and technology educational programs
Demonstrate an ability to measure effectiveness
Are customer-driven
Are global programs that encourage international studies
Clearly articulate the benefits to Delphi and its local communities

The Delphi Foundation generally does not make grants to:

Individuals
Political, legislative, lobbying or fraternal organizations
Endowments, private foundations, capital campaigns and construction
U.S. hospitals, health care institutions, schools and religious organizations (general operating support)
Routine expenses, operating costs or deficit reduction
Conferences, workshops or seminars not directly related to Delphi's business interests
