Wireless Warning System

Delphi Wireless Warning System (WWS) MS0066

The Delphi Wireless Warning System (WWS) MS0066 alerts drivers of a caution condition on the race track by transmitting a caution message from race control to a wall-mounted receiver/light. This system was designed to supplement a track's existing caution system.

The system consists of the following:

  • (1) Race Control Transmitter
  • (1) Receiver/Light
  • (1) Receiver/Light Battery Module

Benefits

  • Allows a user to add additional caution lights at key locations
    • Turn entrance
    • Pit entrance
    • Near spotters
    • Etc.
  • Designed to be rugged, portable and easy to set up at a different track every weekend
  • Messages are encoded to ensure security
  • Sends messages 20 times per second
  • Changes transmitting/receiving frequency 80 times per second to reduce the possibility of interference from other radios
  • Backs up the existing caution system in the event of power loss at the track
  • Race Control Transmitter has an uninterruptible power supply capable of operating for up to five hours
  • Receiver/Light is powered from an external battery module capable of operating for up to 72 hours (an entire race weekend)
