Delphi Ignition Wiring Products perform two primary functions. They deliver high voltage energy from the coil to the spark plug and suppress electromagnetic interference (EMI).

Delphi's 50 feet (15.24 meters) cable with high tear silicone insulation and jacket allows for maximum energy to be delivered to the spark plug while still maintaining excellent RFI suppression.

Insulators for Connections to Spark Plugs, Distributors and Coils

Delphi's high-temperature silicone spark plug boots are molded with features such as a terminal lead-in assist for spark plug post and terminal alignment. A gripping area aids in multiple engage and disengage events.

Delphi's patented terminals have a "hammerhead" snap ring designed to provide increased terminal retention force. The spark plug terminal barrel seam is laser spot welded to increase robustness during multiple service events and in high vibration environments.

High Temperature Sleeving

To help provide protection from both abrasion and heat, Delphi offers a high temperature silicone coated fiberglass sleeving.

Cable seals are protected from extreme heat and environmental damage with self-vulcanizing silicone tape.
