The Delphi Accident Data Recorder 3 (ADR3) MS0148 senses and records key vehicle parameters at 1,000 samples per second. This occurs prior to, during, and after a triggering event. It can log parameters from the vehicle's serial data link via CAN or RS 232. It also records multiple accident parameters which could include the following:
The Delphi ADR3 stores parameter data in memory to be retrieved later via a high speed data link to a personal computer.
Delphi's ADR3 has made such valuable contributions to safety innovations it earned the 41st annual BorgWarner Louis Schwitzer award. Named for an early racing pioneer, the award is presented by a team of engineers and acknowledges individuals with the courage and passion to explore and develop new concepts in racing technology.
Benefits
Typical Applications
The Delphi ADR3 is the most advanced accident logging system in motorsports today and is used in many major racing series including the following:
Delphi can also work with additional motorsports series.
